Ed Kugler

Ed has been involved in the organic food movement for over 40 years, and has dedicated his life to introducing people to the benefits of eating organic and making better food and product choices. He also believes that the vegetarian and vegan lifestyle is beneficial for our health and that of our planet.

Ed was one of the founding vendors of the very first season of the Ravinia Farmers Market in 1978, offering 10 varieties of organic sprouts, salads and organic bakery goods. He has been the Ravinia Market Manager since 2017.

Anne Bolotin

Anne has been a contented resident of Highland Park for almost 35 years. She had been a volunteer greeter at the Ravinia Farmer's Market since 2018, where she welcomes enthusiastic customers every Wednesday morning. Anne can’t wait until June rolls around to see YOU at the market!

 

Robert Boyce

Robert is a registered landscape architect and the owner of Natural Environments in Lake Zurich. He is also a horticulturist and regenerative agriculture specialist. Robert enjoys running marathons.

Jeff Walghen

Jeff is a lifelong resident of the North Shore and natural living enthusiast. He has 50+ years of experience working and living in Ravinia. Jeff believes “small is better.”

 

Roxanne Junge

Roxanne served as Assistant Market Manager for the 2022 season and is our ongoing consultant. She is known by some as an educated farmers market advocate, by some as a dedicated farmers market manager, by some as an enthusiastic school garden educator, by some as an ultimate seasoned "locavore" (someone whose diet includes mainly food grown and raised locally), and by many farmers as a good friend.

Noah Plotkin

Noah Plotkin is a local musician, event organizer, music wellness facilitator, Ravinia native & community activator, and serves as the Music Coordinator for the Market. Throughout his life Noah has recognized the power of music to unite people of all ages and backgrounds to build strong and sustainable communities. He believes that music is a universal language that reaches across all cultural and demographic boundaries. Noah’s company, Life Rhythms Inc. & The Highland Park Community Foundation organizes & manages the music for our market.

 

Geoff Shell

Geoff Shell grew up in Highland Park’s neighbor community of Deerfield and was a long time resident of Evanston until 2020 when he and his family moved to San Marcos, California. Geoff has since been highly involved with the Ravinia Farmer’s Market as lead web designer and overall web guru working remotely through his agency, Modal Media Group. He has additionally built related websites in the north shore for Glencoe Farmers Market, Ed Kugler and the Ravinia Neighbors Association. Learn more at www.geoffshell.com
